Rihanna tickets and Rihanna tour
The Rated R Rihanna Tour supports Rihanna’s fourth studio album Rated R and commences April 16, 2010 in Antwerp, Belgium. The first tour dates were released by Rihanna’s official website on December 9, 2009. Rihanna confirmed her 2010 tour to MTV News on December 3, 2009, "We gonna be going on tour in the spring and the tickets are going to be up for presale in a couple weeks, actually," she told MTV News on the set of her "Hard" video - "It's going to be a worldwide tour, so it's going to be a very long tour."
On December 9, 2009, Rihanna announced new dates for the tour. [Get your Rihanna Tickets here] Jamie King will serve as the tour director who has previously worked with Christina Aguilera, Celine Dion, Madonna, The Spice Girls, Ricky Martin, Britney Spears and Avril Lavigne. Rihanna enlisted Simon Henwood as the creative director for Rated R. He designed the logo and conceived the brand and styling of the album, videos and TV spots. He will contribute to the forthcoming tour, including the show's stage design, costumes and background visuals.
The stage design for Rihanna's promotional concert in London was described as "A futuristic scrapyard", as there were many television sets and dummies on stage. It was aimed to look very futuristic in the theme of her new album. The stage design for the main tour is yet to be confirmed, but it is expected to be very similar to the promotional concert, but on a bigger scale.
New Rihanna concert dates are expected to be released soon as Rihanna tickets are selling out fast. She recently released an extra date in Dublin for this reason. Rihanna recently posted on her official web site that tour dates and Rihanna tickets for the U.S. will be released in the summer
